OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
DURATION
The “Canada Wilderness.com Photo Contest” concludes at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on November, 30 2011.
PRIZES
First Prize:
Eureka Timberline SQ 4XT Tent provided by Johnson Outdoors Canada. The winner shall make arrangements to pick up the tent or pay for the shipping from the Burlington, Ontario warehouse of Johnson Outdoors Canada.
Second & Third Prizes:
One of two CKX Escape Jackets provided by Kimpex and CKX. The winner shall make arrangements to pick up the jacket or pay for the shipping from the Drummondville, Quebec warehouse of Kimpex.
Fourth & Fifth Prizes:
One of two CKX Helmets provided by Kimpex and CKX. The winner shall make arrangements to pick up the helmet or pay for the shipping from the Drummondville, Quebec warehouse of Kimpex.
Sixth Prize:
North Face Base Camp Duffel Bag provided by Gear Up for the Outdoors. The winner shall make arrangements to pick up the duffel bag or pay for the shipping from the Thunder Bay, Ontario warehouse of Gear Up for the Outdoors.
Please note that prizes must be accepted as awarded and can not be converted into cash. Prizes may be a different colour than those in the photographs.
WHO CAN ENTER
The contest is open to any resident of Canada or the United States who is 18 years of age or older. Due to provincial/state legislation, the contest is not open to Quebec residents in Canada or Florida residents in the United States. The contest also is not open to Employees of CanadaWilderness.com, its affiliates, sponsors, partners, officers and directors or their advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate family members.
HOW TO ENTER
No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary. To be eligible, complete the on-line entry form at www.canadawilderness.com and submit it prior to the conclusion of the contest and submit a photo in the prescribed format as per instructions.
All fields marked with an asterisk on the on-line entry form must be filled for proper processing of the contest entry. CanadaWilderness.com reserves the right to limit the number of entries per participant in the contest. In entering this contest the entrant acknowledges that he or she has read, understood and will abide by these contest rules and regulations.
The entrant further agrees that neither CanadaWilderness.com, its affiliates, nor the contest and prize sponsors will be responsible for any failure of the web site during the contest or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment including firewalls, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line Internet entry received by Canada Wilderness.com due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering into the contest.
Canada Wilderness.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug, Trojan, worm or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Canada Wilderness.com corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest.
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS:
Photos must be in .jpeg format no larger than 2 MB in size.
The photo must be an original taken by you.
It must be a photo taken in Canada.
There must not be a recognizable person in the photo.
Wildlife included in any photo must be living in their natural habitat.
CanadaWilderness.com® reserves the right to use submissions on the web site with photographer credit before and after the close of competition.
AWARDING OF PRIZES
The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges following the closing of entries. CanadaWilderness.com will contact the winners at the daytime telephone number shown on the on-line entry form and by e-mail. Calls will be made once. CanadaWilderness.com’s judge’s rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of the prizes.
PRIVACY POLICY
All entries may be published on the web site before or after contest closing at the discretion of CanadaWilderness.com. CanadaWilderness.com assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the Internet during the contest period.
By participating in this contest, the entrant grants the right to CanadaWilderness.com and its affiliates, to use his or her name and contact information for future targeted communications through on-line newsletters and the publishing of general statistics of user demographic and psychographic information. Name and contact information WILL NOT be shared with any third party.
By accepting a prize, the entrant grants the right to CanadaWilderness.com to use their name and/or photograph, without compensation, in any future publicity or advertising.

CONDITIONS
The winning entrants will be required to sign a release and acknowledgment form, or e-mail, reply that releases CanadaWilderness.com, the Contest sponsor(s) and Prize sponsor(s), as well as its directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation its advertising and promotional agencies and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel related thereto before being declared the winner.
CanadaWilderness.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the contest or to amend or modify the official rules at any time without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever. In the event of a dispute in respect of the contest, the rules and regulations for the Canada Wilderness.com Photo Contest to which the participant entered will apply.
This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, Municipal and State laws and regulations. All decisions of the contest judging organization are final and neither the contest sponsor, its affiliates, or CanadaWilderness.com will be held responsible for any accident, negligence, printing, administrative or other efforts that may arise or occur in connection with this contest.
The entrant also agrees that the Court of Ontario, Canada shall have jurisdiction to entertain any action or other legal proceedings based on any provision of these rules or the running of this contest. The entrant hereby irrevocably attorns to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to fully indemnify the Contest Sponsors, CanadaWilderness.com, and its affiliates, as well as the directors, officers, employees, agents and Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario from any and all claims by third parties without limitation.
This contest will be run in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations, subject to amendment by CanadaWilderness.com. The terms of this contest, as set out in these Official Rules and Regulations are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
